We cater to your seating needs with comfort, style and durability as our main goal. You will receive value for your hard earned money. This is true whether your furniture is Dad’s old recliner, or sentimental antiques passed down through the family. Firstly, we listen to you. In so doing we gain insight into your needs as we get to know you as well as getting acquainted with the piece of furniture you wish to have upholstered. Once we are given the job we pay particular attention to the following;

~ Check the fit of existing cushions

~ Check integrity of framework and glued joints

~ Check bottom cross member structure which supports springs

~ Check all springs, padding, foam and cotton

As condition issues are noted we address and correct them. We work with you in selecting the appropriate fabric. We carry a selection on the premises and we can order anything you may wish from our showroom samples. In some applications you may want to consider a protective treatment to your newly upholstered furniture.

In the case of antique furniture there will be special treatments of detail. Often a finish trim is added at the tack line between the fabric and the wood. The customer will be consulted regarding choice of either ‘double cording’, brass tacks, or a decorative scroll gimp.
